The original irrigation design for the Avalon Apartments in Riverside. The project was designed almost entirely with overhead spray heads. Designed in 2008, this system complies with the Riverside Water Efficient Landscaping and Irrigation Ordinance, dated 1994, in accordance with the 1990 version of the original state Model Water Efficient Landscape Ordinance (aka “AB325”). Overhead spray irrigation systems can no longer be designed like this in California due to regulations recently passed to permanently conserve water used for landscape irrigation.
